Located on Australia's Gold Coast "DiveR" Expeditions fully surveyed 7.5m White Pointer powered by twin 175hp etecs is at your service. Specialising in fully guided day tours of SE Queensland's best dive locations we can accommodate up to 6 divers.

Weekend and extended packages are also available to the Southern Barrier Reef or Fraser Island.

Spear fishing expeditions are our specialty.

The waters off SEQ are home to some of the biggest pelagics Australia has to offer. Wahoo , Spanish Mackerel , Marlin and Sailfish to name but a few are highly sought after game and we can put you right amongst them.

 

CORALSEA - INTERNATIONAL EXPEDITIONS

Each year DiveR Expeditions co ordinates fully guided extended live aboard trips to the Coralsea. This bluewater wilderness is home to some of the most spectacular game fish Australia has to offer. Giant Dogtooth Tuna, Black Marlin and Wahoo are but some of the prized species sought in these waters. The Coralsea is also famous for its clear pristine waters .

Visibility in excess of 40m is common. For the underwater videographer there is no better place on earth to film. Sharks, sea turtles and the myriad of marine life which inhabits these waters simply has to be seen to be believed. DiveR Expeditions provides professional guides which are there to help you every step of the way. If it's equipment or getting that certain shot on video which you have dreamed about , or having a crack at a world record size Dogtooth . They will make sure you have the best chance possible every time.

This year 2010 trips are planned for Nov / Dec. Dept from Cairns in the far north. Expressions of interest sought for a truly unique experience . The MEGA fish aggregation. Tuna and Whale Sharks of the Coralsea. This adventure will take place in over 2000 feet of open water. Small group sizes of 4 too 6 divers only will be catered for due to  logistics

NEW ZEALAND - INTERNATIONAL EXPEDITIONS

Charter trips are booked in for FEB and MARCH.

Arrive Saturday and departing Saturday, trips are planned on 6 divers with 5 days of diving ( day trips onboard MUSA ) in a very comfortable 8.5m Image with twin fourstroke engines. Locations visited are White Island ( home of the Giant Yellowtail Kingfish, fish in excess of 50kg) , Astrolabe Reef , Penguin Shoals , Mayor Island , Whale Island , East Cape , Ranfurley Banks ( all locations are weather dependent )

Our local guide Joe Bourke knows the area like the back of his hand and always puts you on the fish. Your accommodation is self contained beach house style in Ohope over the hill from Whakatane our base. Species sought after here are of coarse Yellowtail Kingfish, Snapper, John Dory, Tuna, Pink Mao Mao, Trevally. Also if you are lucky you might even come across a giant crayfish or pod of Pilot Whales. Diving in this part of NZ is like being in a Nat Geo documentary. The fish life is seriously on a grand scale and something unique to this part of the world. So come and share it with us. You won't be disappointed.

AUGUST FAMILLY FRIENDLY "FIJI"

Come and chasse Wahoo in excess of 30kg.

Dogtooth Tuna and Mahi Mahi whilst the wife sits back and relaxes in one of Fiji's premier resorts getting pampered at the day spar while the kids are taken care of. Sounds good doesn't it.

Two one week expeditions are planned with flexible dates at this stage. 5 or 7 day packages, island stay or Coralcoast accommodation.
